I had been thinking about diving in to the aluminum neck world, and Hoxey’s Labor Day sale pushed me over the edge. Order placed, and had the neck arrive a week or so later. I attached it to my PBass body, strung it up, and was on my way. Great sustain, great overall sound. I should’ve opted for side dots, but I will drill them myself…

Dude, I couldn't be happier with the playability of this neck. It's perfect. The one and only downside is the weight. It doesn't dive, on my bass, but my bass now weighs 12.55 lbs. Which is a little hefty, even for me.

Buy a chambered one.

This is a beast of a neck. Incredible machining, Impeccable tone, and an awesome shape to the neck. The shoulder on the “fretboard” edge is a rad design element. One bummer was the nut slots were filed too low. Luckily I’m able to replace it with a Brass nut. The problem could have been my string gauge (100-45). Other than that minor issue, what an incredible deal on an incredible machined piece of art. Hoxey is the best place to get an Aluminum neck. Thank you!
